Small Groups

Small groups have a rock solid biblical basis. The concept was modeled perfectly by Jesus and his twelve disciples as well as the early Christian church; the result being tremendous growth of the church and widespread preaching of the gospel.

What Is a Small Group?

A small group is a voluntary, yet very intentional, get-together of 3 to 12 people, often drawn together by some affinity, who meet regulary for the purpose of growing in Christ and developing relationships with one another.

What Does a Small Group Do?

A small group functions as a micro-church within the larger corporate church body. The groups incorporate various aspects of worship, fellowship, discipleship, and community outreach.

Why Should I Join a Small Group?

A small group provides a personal, caring environment for spiritual growth. Within the group, scripture is applied, burdens are shared, victories are celebrated... lives are impacted for Christ. Small groups are the glue that helps to create a sense of belonging and connection at Grace Fellowship. They are also the primary source of pastoral care and interpersonal ministry within the church.

What Types of Groups Are There at Grace?

The most common are General Discipleship groups, which provide a balance of study and relational interaction. Although many groups are a combination of couples and singles, some are more specific with regard to affinity, such as young, married couples.

There are many other types of small groups and we invite you to search for a group that interests you.
