Basic Information

Registration

Including your child in Kids’ Celebration is as simple as filling out a family registration form. Drop by the Kids' Celebration Welcome Center during one of our check-in times and a greeter will provide you with a registration form and help your child find a comfortable place to make some new friends.

Children are grouped according to age so that your child will be able to learn at the level most appropriate for them. Once you fill out a family registration form on your first visit, you should check-in at the Welcome Center for the next two visits to sign-in. On your third visit, you will be asked if you want to enroll your child(ren) as a regular attendee in Kids’ Celebration.

Regular attendees will be added to our attendance rolls and an attendance card will be made for each child. A postcard will be sent to you indicating when the card is ready to be picked up at the Kids’ Celebration Welcome Center. Once you pick up your child’s attendance card, you may go directly to your child’s classroom each week to check-in your child(ren).

Check-In and Dismissal

Checking In

We desire to honor the faithful service of our committed volunteers and to provide the best possible experience for you child. At a quarter after the hour, we will be closing the Kids’ Celebration doors and directing late comers and their children to view the service from the café or the worship auditorium.

Check-In Times

5:00 p.m. Saturday check-in is from 4:35 to 5:15
9:00 a.m. Sunday check-in is from 8:35 to 9:15
11:00 a.m. Sunday check-in is from 10:35 to 11:15

Check-In Procedures

When you check-in at the Welcome Center or at your child’s classroom, you will receive a nametag with a corresponding security stub. The number on the parent’s security stub matches the number on the child’s nametag. If your child should need you for any reason while in Kids’ Celebration, your number will be displayed on the screens in the worship auditorium. When you get to the classroom door, please hand your child’s belongings to the teacher or hang them on the hooks provided outside the door. If you are a visitor, you should have received a nametag and parent’s security stub from the Welcome Center. If you are a regular attendee, you should present your child’s attendance card at the classroom door so you can receive a new nametag and parent’s security stub each week.

Dismissal

You should pick your child up from their classroom at the end of service. You must give your child’s teacher the parent’s security stub. This acts as a form of identification to make sure your child is released to the right person. If you wish to have someone else pick up your child, please give your security stub to him or her. This person should be at least 11 years old. Volunteers are not permitted to release children to anyone who cannot provide the matching security stub. Because the safety of your children is very important to you and to Kids’ Celebration, we follow additional security procedures in Kids’ Celebration to ensure the safety and security of your children.
