Visitor Information

Including your child in Kids’ Celebration is as simple as filling out a Konnection Card. Drop by the Kids' Celebration Welcome Center during any of our three service check-in times. Your child will be given a name tag to wear and you will receive a matching parent receipt. The parent receipt, as well as the name tag, will have a number on it. You will need to keep the parent receipt with you and present it to the child's teacher at dismissal. In addition, this receipt is our way of communicating with you if your child has a need during the service time by projecting that number up on our AV screens.

Kids' Celebration groups children according to age or grade (babies through 5th grade), and where possible, places children in age-appropriate classrooms or combined classes where age/grade are one year apart. This provides opportunities for all children in those classes to learn and grow in an age-appropriate environment geared especially for them.

Enrollment

Once you decide to enroll your child(ren) in Kids' Celebration School Year Session, you will fill out a School Year Registration Form. After this form is processed, your child(ren) will be enrolled in an age/grade appropriate classroom, for the remainder of the school year (begining the weekend after Labor Day in September through the end of June) and you will be able to check in quickly and easily at any of our four Check In Kiosks. In addition, you will receive a parent newsletter three times per year that will give you information on upcoming KC events and ministry highlights!

Check-In and Dismissal

Checking In

We desire to honor the faithful service of our committed volunteers and to provide the best possible experience for your child. At a quarter after the hour, we will be closing the Kids’ Celebration doors and directing late comers and their children to view the service from the café or the worship auditorium. This is to ensure a non-interrupted classroom and worship experience for your children, as well as to ensure their safety during the service time.

Check-In Times

5:00 p.m. Saturday check-in is from 4:35 to 5:15
9:00 a.m. Sunday check-in is from 8:35 to 9:15
11:00 a.m. Sunday check-in is from 10:35 to 11:15

Check-In Procedures

When you check-in at the Welcome Center or at your child’s classroom, you will receive a nametag with a corresponding security stub. The number on the parent’s security stub matches the number on the child’s nametag. If your child should need you for any reason while in Kids’ Celebration, your number will be displayed on the screens in the worship auditorium. When you get to the classroom door, please hand your child’s belongings to the teacher or hang them on the hooks provided outside the door. If you are a visitor, you should have received a nametag and parent’s security stub from the Kids' Celebration Welcome Center.

Dismissal

You should pick your child up from their classroom at the end of service. You must show your child’s teacher the parent’s security stub. This acts as a form of identification to make sure your child is released to the right person. If you wish to have someone else pick up your child, please give your security stub to him or her. This person should be at least 11 years old. Volunteers are not permitted to release children to anyone who cannot provide the matching security stub. Because the safety of your children is very important to you and to Kids’ Celebration, we follow additional security procedures in Kids’ Celebration to ensure the safety and security of your children.
